Thirty years ago Ishmael Berkel initiated a school on the Island of Sint Eustatius with the principles of Foundation Based Education. Every child of the school are working on four main topics
- learning to be
- learning to know
- learning to do
- learning to live together
With the opening of Lynch Planetarium, February 2021, we had to find a connection with Foundation Based Education, FBE. We are still working with the topics of FBE so it fit nicely within the school curriculum. In this workshop we want to look with the participated Planetariums how they can find Items within their Planetarium program to each of the topics of FBE. We hope they discover that this tool can help them to get grip on their educational program at their own Planetarium.
